Kylian Mbappe Reaffirms AC Milan Affinity Ahead of Inter Clash

Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has spoken openly about his personal feelings regarding Italian football, reiterating his lifelong affection for AC Milan while ensuring respect is paid to rivals Inter Milan.

Speaking ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League duties involving the Nerazzurri, the French forward addressed the dynamics of facing the Serie A heavyweights. When asked about Inter, Mbappe highlighted his well-documented past support for their crosstown rivals, AC Milan, but underlined the quality and pedigree possessed by the current Inter side.

"Inter? I prefer AC Milan, but they deserve respect," Mbappe stated, candidly addressing the rivalry and the challenge that lies ahead on the European stage.

Mbappe's fondness for AC Milan is no secret across European football. The France captain has previously acknowledged following the Rossoneri during his youth, often expressing an appreciation for the club's illustrious continental history. However, his focus in European competition remains firmly on delivering results for Real Madrid against top-tier opposition.

Inter Milan have consistently proven themselves to be among the continent's most resilient outfits in recent European campaigns. Facing a disciplined Italian setup presents a stern tactical test for any forward line, and Mbappe's acknowledgement highlights the awareness within the Madrid camp of the challenge at hand.

As the Champions League tests elite clubs across the continent, individual narratives frequently surface ahead of heavyweight clashes. For Real Madrid, navigating high-calibre fixtures against experienced continental adversaries remains standard operating procedure.

Mbappe's comments balance lighthearted personal preference with professional focus, ensuring that Real Madrid approach the clash fully aware of Inter's competitive calibre on the biggest stage.
