Richarlison Frozen Out at Tottenham as Trabzonspor Make Late Transfer Push
Tottenham Hotspur have left Richarlison out of their Premier League squad, with the Brazilian forward now facing an uncertain future after his proposed return to Everton collapsed.
Richarlison’s situation at Tottenham has taken another dramatic turn after head coach Roberto De Zerbi decided to exclude the striker from his Premier League plans.
The decision follows Richarlison’s repeated attempts to leave the club during the summer transfer window. De Zerbi previously revealed that the 29-year-old had asked to depart North London on several occasions.
Tottenham are understood to value Richarlison at around £35 million, but no acceptable offer has arrived so far. With his current contract entering its final year, plus an option for an additional 12 months, the forward now finds himself outside Tottenham’s first-team plans.
Trabzonspor Offer Richarlison a Way Out
While the English transfer window has closed, the Turkish market remains open until Friday, giving Richarlison one final opportunity to secure a move away from Tottenham.
Trabzonspor remain interested after having an initial proposal rejected by Spurs, and the Turkish club are reportedly considering their next move.
Richarlison is said to be keen on the possibility of moving to Turkey, where he could join a squad featuring high-profile names and continue his career away from the uncertainty surrounding his Tottenham future.
A potential return to Everton, where Richarlison previously established himself as a Premier League star, also fell through after the player reportedly rejected the personal terms proposed by the Merseyside club.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have strengthened their attacking options and appear increasingly prepared to move forward without the Brazilian.
Richarlison Sends Defiant Message
The transfer uncertainty also prompted Richarlison to address his situation publicly.
In a message shared on Instagram after the Everton move collapsed, the Brazil international made it clear that he intends to have the final say over the next chapter of his career.
His message was defiant, insisting that pressure, threats and retaliation would not prevent him from making his own decisions.
The post has added another layer to an increasingly complicated transfer saga, with Richarlison seemingly determined to regain control of his future.
Friday Deadline Looms
Trabzonspor now face a race against time to reach an agreement with Tottenham before the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday.
For Spurs, the preference appears to be a permanent transfer that meets their valuation.
If no agreement is reached, Richarlison could remain at Tottenham but outside the club’s Premier League plans until the January transfer window.
The coming days could therefore determine whether Richarlison finally gets the move he wants — or begins a difficult period on the sidelines in North London.
NistyFootball Verdict: Richarlison’s future is now firmly in the spotlight. Trabzonspor may be his final escape route this summer, but Tottenham’s £35 million valuation could prove to be the decisive obstacle.
