Gabriel Jesus Set to Join Barcelona on Two-Year Deal
Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus, with the Brazilian set to put pen to paper on a two-year contract, according to reports.
The agreement is understood to include an option for an additional year, which could keep Jesus at the Catalan giants until 2029.
Jesus is said to have immediately accepted Barcelona’s proposal, viewing the move as a dream opportunity to continue his career at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
The Brazilian forward’s departure from Arsenal now appears imminent, with the Gunners having authorised him to travel on Monday as the final stages of the move are completed.
The potential switch would see Jesus return to La Liga after previously making his name in European football with Manchester City, before moving to Arsenal in 2022.
