Glory Ogbonna Seals Return to Besiktas for Second Stint
Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna has officially completed a return to Turkish side Besiktas ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Nigeria international defender Glory Ogbonna has officially finalized a return to Turkish club Beşiktaş ahead of the upcoming campaign, securing a second spell with the Istanbul-based outfit.
Beşiktaş confirmed the arrival of the experienced Super Falcons defender through an announcement on their official website, signaling an immediate reinforcement to their defensive unit ahead of competitive action.
Ogbonna, who previously featured for the Black and Whites, returns to familiar territory to provide defensive stability and tactical versatility across the back four. Her re-acquisition represents a targeted effort by the Turkish side to add seasoned international pedigree to their defensive structure.
In a statement published on their official platforms, Beşiktaş formally unveiled the signing of the Nigerian international.
Beşiktaş have boosted their defensive line with the signing of their former player Glory Akumbu Ogbonna (born 25 December 1998 in Nigeria) for the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old brings valuable top-level experience to the squad. As an established member of Nigeria's national women's team, Ogbonna's familiarity with Turkish football is expected to ease her reintegration into the squad as Beşiktaş prepare to navigate their domestic and cup commitments.
Her return provides the technical staff with proven reliability in high-pressure fixtures, giving the club depth and international standard leadership in central and wide defensive positions.
With preparations for the upcoming season already in motion, Ogbonna's immediate focus will be on slotting back into the setup and cementing her place in the starting XI as Beşiktaş target domestic honours.
